About the role
Participate in the implementation of server software components, Deep Content Inspection Server, Content Format Decoders
Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of server software components, Deep Content Inspection Server, Content Format Decoders (e.g. PDF, Doc, PPT, XLS, etc.), result aggregation
- Work with the Architecture Team, other engineering and scientific teams, and the product team to deliver a high performance, high-availability Server Software for Data Security
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
- 5+ years server-side development experience on Unix/Linux in C++/STL/Boost/etc.
- Keen understanding of scalability and performance considerations
- Experience developing large-scale software systems
- Demonstrated technical and project leadership skills
- Motivated self-starter, fast learner, strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Significant experience in search, performance optimization, networking (TCP and UDP), database internals, large-scale web applications
- Experience building clustered or parallel-computing applications
- Significant Java development experience
- Track record of open-source contributions
